Quality, Safety & Regulation

Reliability at every level

Quality and safety form the basis of any successful cosmetics brand. That is why we consistently operate within the clearly defined regulatory framework of the EU Cosmetics Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009, which is binding on all cosmetic products on the European market.

[1] Product Development & Formulation

Even before a product is placed on the market, we ensure that each one undergoes a thorough safety assessment (CPSR) carried out by a qualified safety assessor. This is based on verified formulations, approved raw materials and comprehensive documentation. The results are compiled in the legally required Product Information File (PID/PIF), which is accessible to the authorities at all times.

Our production is carried out in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP in accordance with ISO 22716). Clear processes, defined responsibilities and regular checks ensure consistent quality – from the receipt of raw materials through to bottling.

We also place great emphasis on safety and compliance when it comes to raw materials. All ingredients used comply with the requirements of the Cosmetics Regulation, including the relevant lists of substances and restrictions. We carefully assess new raw materials in terms of their regulatory compliance, the availability of safety data and their suitability for the respective product concept.

Naturally, we also assist our clients with correct labelling and notification via the CPNP portal, as well as with regulatory issues relating to claims, product differentiation and market launch.

For us, quality means not only compliance with standards, but also safety, transparency and reliability – for our customers, for consumers and for the market.

Our work is regularly audited and certified by independent organisations. These include Eco-Control (link to GMP certificates) and NaTrue (link to their website), which audit and certify our processes and services, including in the field of natural and organic cosmetics.

Furthermore, we are actively involved in relevant trade associations. Through our membership of ICADA and IKW, we ensure that we are always kept informed of current and planned legislative changes, new guidelines and evolving regulatory requirements – and that we incorporate these into our work at an early stage.

This is how we combine proven quality, regulatory compliance and proactive engagement with the market.
